Support Services
 Housekeeping Services
The housekeeping staff has the responsibility of maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment in the Manor for residents, staff, and visitors. Resident areas are cleaned on a regular basis at no additional cost to you. If you wish, you can assist with light housekeeping duties such as dusting, bed making, and generally keeping your room in good order.
Laundry Services
We have a complete commercial laundry on the premises, which is in operation daily. We will launder all of your clothing at no additional cost to you. Staff will pick up soiled laundry from your room regularly, and the laundry staff will return items to you within a 48-hour period. Laundry will be placed in your drawers or closet upon request. As our laundry service is of a commercial nature, it is recommended that clothing be of durable, wash and wear quality. The staff changes bed linens weekly. If you require any extra linens or towels during the week, please feel free to ask.
Maintenance Services
Idlewyld Manor employs maintenance staff that are responsible for maintaining the building and grounds in safe repair. There are Maintenance work requisitions at the nursing stations where you may through the nursing staff, request maintenance assistance. Our maintenance staff will hang pictures as requested. Resident/family members are responsible for repairs to their own electrical devices.
