- ONGOING BUSINESS: Follow up items from December 2020 meeting:
Smart TVs have now been purchased and will be installed in all areas very soon. The TVs will be used to showcase a variety of shows and programs for all Residents.
For those looking to install TV, Cable, and Phones in a Resident’s room the best options are currently available thru Rogers by contacting Stephen Reuter at Roger’s at 905 570 2300.
Nan also suggested a low cost option to connect TV is to purchase an antenna at Best Buy (or similar) which will allow a number of channels at no monthly cost.
Plans are in place to make internet available publicly thru the home. This has been delayed because of the Pandemic but should be completed by the end of March.
The Thrive Group is currently working on allowing access to the Thrive Bus. Further information to follow.
The Administrator confirmed the staff are being tested every 7 days as are the Essential Family Caregivers. They are working closely with Public Health to ensure the results are processed in a timely manner.
